Ink and colors on silk, mounted as handscrolls. Two srolls each with twelve scenes from the novel "The Dream of the Red Chamber", signed Qingxi qiaozi and seals, partly dated xinchou year; Two scrolls with twelve and nine album leaves (one heavily damaged), signed Biyun shanren and Xiangshan shiren, and seals; A scroll with twelve depictions of famous ladies, signed Wu Li and seals, some with comments by Lin Xiang; A sroll of eight album leaves, some signed and sealed.
From a southern German private collection, mostly acquired in Hong Kong and Jakarta in the 1960s/1970s
